During the downfall of Ottoman Empite, hundreds of horses were left at nature's mercy by their owners. After almost a hundred years, they are still around and they are called the Yilka wild horses.
A local family claims ownership to the wild horses. They catch them and put them through the most heartwrenching torture. The brainwashed and scared horses are then sold for a few thousand dollars.
The number of Yilka horses has been increasing due to modern farming machinery diminishing the need for domesticated horses.
